Noteworthy: Franco, a second-year varsity runner, clocked a time of 15 minutes and four seconds on a 3-mile course to win the Mission/Angelus League Cluster Meet and set a new personal record on Sept. 20. St. Francis won the league meet as a team. Franco also finished 10th in the Sweepstakes race at the Woodbridge Classic earlier this season.
