Joel Doerning, ATC Joel Doerning, ATC, is in his 6th year at St. Francis High School as a full time teacher/athletic trainer. Joel earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training in May 2009 from California State University Northridge. He has gained experience working with CSUN athletic programs, Pasadena City College athletic programs, the DeBartolo Sports University, the AVP Tour and was the Head Athletic Trainer at Bishop Alemany High School from 2009-2014. Joel graduated from St. Francis High School in 2004. Joel resides in the San Gabriel Valley with his wife Alejandra and two sons, Nathan and Noah.
